Who actually turns off the new skins?

Exactly. Plus, there are some things that I do like seeing. I love the SPI armor, the new elite armors, the new odst armors, and the cut halo reach armors. I also don’t mind weapon or vehicle skins at all.

But of course they had to go overboard and add a bunch of non-halo armors into the game. 3 steps forward 43 steps backwards.

I disabled everything but reach. I like everything added for reach. The spartan spartan helmet is questionable. The CE skins I find distracting. It also makes the game run worse. Halo 3 just has to many added ugly armours.

Ok fine boring might not be nice but this wasn’t a serious post. I was just like who are the people who use the toggle option? I’ve actually had my question answered a few times but people are still commenting here. I would edit my post but I feel that would be dishonest to the people who already responded. I understand now that a lot of people disabled new skins for performance reasons. Also I hate the season 8 cosmetics and am almost tempted to disable skins myself. Just for a hypothetical question, would you only disable some skins if they allowed the option? Personally I love the weapons skins and Fireteam Raven ODST armor but I pretty much hate everything out of season 8.

I agree. I don’t care for the event in Infinite. In fact Infinite has turned me off from the whole idea of grinding for cosmetics. Like why should I waste my time on challenges for stuff that doesn’t even look good to me? I just realized after Infinite that most micro transactions are geared towards having people pay for cosmetics. Maybe it’s time people just say I don’t need every cosmetic as long as a game is fun

I have to have them toggled off, can’t stand to look at the Skyrim -yoink- in Halo 3, it makes me mad and ruins the game for me.

Reach currently sucks because the “spartan” helmet leaks through the toggle, though I’m mostly ok with leaving that toggle off, as the kind of “quality player” that thinks Season 8 looks good mostly went over to Infinite.

I turn them off, I prefer straight up halo, wish I could do the same in Infinite.
I do sometimes have them on in campaign, but that only changes weapon, vehicle skins anyway
