So, something I am noticing is that alot of armor seems to be covered in a lot of white, to much maybe, the issue is that this does not change will color for some reason. An example is the Helljumper variant 1, with the triangle at the top and stripes on the side, they don’t change color. Why? why is there large chuncks of white on the armor? this seems kind of conflicting when it comes to armor colors.
Is this something permanent or just a way to show the brighter primary parts of armor?
another thing I notice is that colors sometimes appear darker or lighter on certain pieces, this kind of seems odd as it causes colors not to match.
I agree, there seems to be far too much white on the armor sets, I really wish there was a basic full color able piece of each armor keeping the white ones but giving them one of the extra names like all the other “skins”. That way we could have more armor and chose between the white stripes or not, or give us the ability to change the color of the white parts by giving us a 3rd color pallet option.

Ya, Nightfall makes me look like a derp, but, I have to thank 343 for adding it as it is my stand in ODST helmet until I get the HellJumper helmet. Luckily for me, the armor I want (Helljumper Helmet without white chin and Centurion with little white) can easily be fixed to look right, just have to make the secondary color white and it all matches.
I hate the white too. If you want to get rid of it you got to go all white. Only problem I have with that is you can’t see my Helljumper Feetfirst smiley face on the chest. That’s a must!
