personally the whispered truth is a fave of mine course I’m a sucker for a silencer and a 3 shot burst…

LOL you dont see how a permanent three shot magnum wouldnt be game breaking…I hope your joking. Man if that thing was a loadout I would revert back to my halo ce days and use nothing but the pistol lmao. The halo 2 BR is just a tad bit better then the regular BR but its definitely not as powerful as the ce magnum.

Which is why it would be set to such a high level of 7 and 8, the only joke is that I am not going to be able to get it all that often which kind of renders it pointless of having it in the game if I cannot access it in Warzone as a permanent fixed Req. Let’s face it, we need some permanent magnum variants and this would kind of fill this niche in our armory in terms of variety.
Yeah I agree more magnum load outs would be great…maybey a silenced variant or some new design that allows for longer ranged shots like a scope or longer barrel…hell a modified design like they did with the whispered truth would also be acceptable to me…
also the req level thing makes sense…

I get to REQ 8 every WarZone game. I am glad it’s a burn card if it was a load out it would take away from the game.
I would never need to spawn a power weapon in if the ce pistol was load out.
Whispered truth is better as a REQ. As a mythic REQ the CE pistol is not good enough. It needs to be a loadout with a high REQ level
I have both. Ive used both they do about the same tbh. They both have speed boosts in warzone, have about the same ttk (if not the same TTK for perfect kill,) same range, same accuracy. After using the CE magnum I felt it was just not that great at anything BESIDES close range. It doesn’t have that big a magnetism either but the same as the regular magnum. I get 9 reqs every single game of warzone even before the increase to req acquisition speed. Id be fine with it being the first level 9 req because by that point its usually almost game over anyway. Being a burn card is alright to but it just doesn’t really strike me as something I can go “i would use this over this” in the given situation. Id take a blaze of glory over the CE magnum pretty much any day if I’m looking for short range. Its cool and all, and yea its nostalgic but, its just not that great. After all the SMG has a near identical TTK.
Yes, I know its good, I played halo ce as well. Been here form the start. Its just not as great as people give it credit. I don’t honestly think very many people have it at the moment anyway. If they removed the speed boost on it I think it would be fine at level 9 req.

I think they should have balanced it by reducing its ROF and giving it high recoil. It might have felt different than it does now, but at least then it would have a more useful role. Right now its just there for the hell of it, or nostalgia. The whispered truth is silenced and I have had much more success with that pistol overall.

They would have absolute hell rain down on them if they changed even the slightest bit of it. it was a very smart move on their part doing that. The added move speed boost was a weird idea imo but whatever works.
