Ok, so, I’m not a big power weapon user, but, I decided to use a Whiplash as I had like 4 of them. Found myself in a fight with an enemy, two maybe three shots, missed every single one. No problem, my aim isn’t that great, I’m used to missing shots against players. But you can not simply tell me that I can stand 5 feet from an Elite in a Ghost and still miss when he didn’t move and my reticle was dead center on him.
To be honest, when shooting the Whiplash that game, it was like my shots didn’t exist at all. Every shoot I took, I’d hear it shoot, but there was no small beam of light indicating a gauss shot like shell had come out.
am I the only one experiencing this?
I think it’s just you. The Whiplash performs more than admirably every time I use it. Maybe you had a bad connection in the game you used it?
The Whiplash is probably the best level 4 REQ out there. It is certainly the best Railgun. But I have never had your problem though, may have been lag.
yea i miss with it sometimes but ive never hit something and done no damage
Most likely caused by lag. Railguns don’t seem to respond well to the lag monster.
Seems to be working fine. I think you may have been experiencing the dreaded lag counterattack.

Curse the mighty lag! I might just never use the Railgun variants, problem solved xD
Whiplash is beast. You can wreck ghosts and players with it, quick shooting monster

Personally, I would argue Blood of Suban is the best level 4 REQ. But that’s just me (love that gun!) ^^
You said you were a bad shot. That might be it. Go on a lower sensitivity to help aim better. Or you can go into customs with a rail gun and practice with that.
Whiplash is incredible. You say you don’t use power weapons much. That’s it. It took me ages to be good with rail gun and I really wanted to be good with it. You’ll see the extra shot in whiplash is brilliant.

Yeah, the Blood of Suban is up there, it’s just that I don’t get it in REQ packs often (I have got the certification for it), so I don’t use it that much.

Totally agreed, both of those weapons are incredible. You can catch a peek at players and get kills.

Yeah, I am a bad shot, but neither I nor the Ghost were moving and there was barely even 5 feet between us. I had the Whiplash pointed at the center, hull covered engine of the Ghost. I’m an average shot, but even the worst shot in Halo (or any game for that matter) couldn’t have missed.

It’s lag most likely. Same with me, but a lot more noticeable with non-power weapons. I can unload an entire Magnum clip into an enemy (12 rounds) get only a few hit markers and then apparently I only shot 3 times and have 9 bullets left in my clip when I switch to my AR and back.
Don’t you disrespect our beloved whiplash.
