I have 2 accounts, one is a high rank (forerunner) with bad stats.

Or a low rank (general) with good stats?

I don’t really care much about stats, which is why i’m leaning towards my old account, but only having a 1.3 k/d when I play much better than that now is frustrating.

I made this account just for the 1 month free trial until I could get an xbl gold card, now this 1 month trial is about to run out, and I don’t know which account to renew :x

Opinions?

Stats mean nothing. I really could stop there. Many players play much better than their stats show. You don’t need to impress anyone, especially over the internet.

Use whichever one you like the best. If you want better stats, use that account. If you want a higher rank, use the Forerunner, don’t base your decision on what other people think.

I have a high rank and high stats. But it sucks. I’d much prefer a lower rank.

You are 100% right elektron. I suppose people are rarely going to see my service record anyways. They will just see the rank…

I agree, I have played with players who appear awesome on the stats but suck, I have played with players that appear awesome on the stats and are, equally I have played with players who look like they suck and do etc etc etc,

Go with your main account I say.

Stats do matter if you want to improve you’re own skills. Using w/l and k/d as a gauge. It also helps with the intimidation factor.

Of course if you don’t care stick with the higher rank.

Rank means squat in Reach, stats have more meaning.

I would go with the high rank and finish off Reach by achieving Inheritor rank. Stats only mean something to other people after awhile.
