Which weapons will have skins and which wont im just wondering. this is not about bashing weapon skins im just curious.

So far the Assault Rifle and the Battle Rifle are the only ones we know about.

does anyone know if we’ll be using custom classes in Spartan OPs (ie we’ll get to start the level with our loadout, skins etc) or if it’ll adopt the campaign approach?

Just speculation, but probably the guns that have been announced for loadouts, it may only be primary weapons but who knows.

I think it will be the most famous ones, like the DMR, BR and AR.

They can’t make skins for every gun.

Why not? Ghost Recon just made a bajillion skins for a bajillion guns, and I’m sure COD has done the same too.

Because just imagine how ugly could be a plasma rifle with tiger skin or some stuff like this on it ^^

Everything your character has will carry over into the Spartan OPs campaign.

But just imagine how great a plasma would be with a tiger skin camo pattern. Sure, it would be ugly as hell, but it be -Yoinking!- hilarious as well and I think that should be the direction of Halo 4 multiplayer (we’ve done enough serious to bore the world to tears. Let’s have some fun instead.)

We know your MM Spartan’s armor and colors will translate to Sparton Ops (similar to Reach Campaign). As for the weapon loadouts, there has been no word on that (but imo, I think its in).

As for the OP’s question:
As someone already said, the skins will likely only be for loadout weapons (and even then, it may only be primary weapons like DMR, BR, AR)

My guess is at least every UNSC primary starting weapon, and it wouldn’t surprise me if you could change the colour on Covenant starting weapons too.

So far we know there is a pre-order BR skin and a Limited edition AR skin.

My guess is all of the Human starting weapons (BR, AR, DMR etc.)

I think probably like all the standard weapons (AR, BR, DMR, Pistol, etc).
Or maybe you choose a skin and then all thee weapons you pick up will have that skin (probably no though because that would be stupid).
Edit: A better idea- any weapon you have in your loadout you choose the skin for.

Skins aren’t that big and besides a single skin can be applicable to all weapons. It does not have to be an entirely new texture.

This is guns, lots of which are icons of the game. Man, what would some of you do if 343 implemented for example a mobile toilet like EPIC did in UT.
