I’ve been going for the new achievement, only to discover that neither the Light Rifle nor the Boltshot are capable of the disintegration effect. So which weapons can disintegrate enemies in War Games?
Scattershot does for sure and I think the Binary Rifle does as well.
It is only for the Forerunner power weapons so Scattershot, Binary, and Incineration. Pulse Grenades can but only with the 2nd explosion so the odds of that happening are very slim but it’s there.
Incineration Cannon, Binary Rifle, Scattershot, Pulse Grenades might work too.

this is correct, altho the chances of you getting a kill with a pulse grenade are like 1 in a 1000 tho if that

That must explain why I have them maxed out

You can disintegrate corpses of players you didn’t even kill with the explosion of a Pulse Grenade.

Yeah, pretty much this I think and maybe the incineration cannon/Pulse grenade as well.
To get a disintegration with the Scattershot, get a headshot with it, or you’ll have to shoot the dead body again.

- Pulse Grenade (Explosion)
Promethean Weapons that are NOT capable of disintegrating enemy players:
- Boltshot
- Light Rifle
- Suppressor
