It shouldn’t be determined by which way you’re looking. So many times I get out to fall off a cliff because I was bouncing around, and had no control over which way I was looking. Please, 343, change it to something else, maybe the D-Pad.

Sure, it ought to be possible to change it, although I doubt it’s a prioritized thing.
Why not exit “like a boss”, through the windshield or by jumping of the front of the vehicle?

i agree with this. its been a lot of times where i rush to get a weapon and then i get there with my mongoose or ghost, and when i park right next to it my character exits the other way -.-u i hate that.

Yeah, you should exit on whatever side you hold the stick when you press the exit button. There should be a brief dead time where this decision is made, where the vehicle stops moving so you can choose the direction.
I used to believe that it was random until I realized that it had to do with which way I was looking.
Though I commend Reach for having a lot of detail in it’s manual, I am surprised this info was not included.
