I’m curious to know which enemies and bosses do you like versus which enemies and bosses do you hate in Warzone and Warzone Firefight. It could be because their too easy, easy, average, challenging, hard, or too hard. Feel free to categorize them anyway you want. By map, enemy, or game type.
For me, I think I’ll split them up by enemies.
So Crawlers, Watchers, Grunts, and Jackals I’d say are pretty easy. No denying that. They’re only difficult when their in packs. When it comes to the Grunts, if there are teams of them with Void’s Tear and Fuel Rod Guns, then it becomes really challenging. And when they’re in Grunt Jockeys…oh boy, those needles sure do hurt. Although, one of the things I find the most challenging about them is delivering the killing blow to increase the commendation score. (I have 3-4 more left before I complete it.) As for the Jackals, if they have Beam Rifles or Needlers, yikes.
Elites and Soldiers are challenging, depending on how many there are and what weapons they’re carrying. Soldiers with Saws can be pretty difficult to deal with, especially if there’s a lot of them in Firefight. I kind of wish that all of the Legendary Boss Elites and Soldiers were in vehicles this way it would be impossible to splatter them. However, I’ll make an exception with Jul’ Mdama. Elites that spawn in Ghosts and Banshees I find fairly easy. As for the Soldiers who spawn in Warthogs and are minor bosses, I find it a little bit unfair that they can point the turret in ways that players can’t. (Yes, I know they spawn in ONI Warthogs, but still.) However, don’t get me started on the Soldiers that spawn in Mantises. Those things are almost impossible to destroy unless you have an entire team with heavy weapons and vehicles focusing on one of them at once. I also hate it how their health recharges if they don’t receive any damage for a while.
Hunters I don’t really have an issue with. Have a Scorpion tank or a Wraith and you’re pretty much good.
Knights…Oh do I have a few things to say about Knights. Now, generally I don’t mind them, even as bosses, for the most part. Commander Lochagos is okay, although I find the area where they spawn to be odd and somewhat unfair. However, I do get ticked off with the ones that spawn Incineration Cannons. I always seem to have trouble with the ones that spawn by the Soldier boss on Raid on Apex 7. But nothing compares to the vast amount of Knights that spawn with that weapon and fire endless shots without needing to recharge/cool down. I can’t tell you how annoyed I get on the final round of Warzone Firefight on Attack on Sanctum. Vehicles get destroyed instantly and you have to wait an agonizing 30 seconds to spawn a new one and take an additional 5-20 seconds just to get to the enemies.
As for the Warden Eternal, I don’t really have a problem. It just depends on where they spawn in Warzone Firefight. If they spawn outside, that’s okay. But if they spawn inside the Home Base with waves of enemies guarding them, then it becomes almost impossible to take them out, unless your entire team uses strong vehicles.
