I am almost 50 and I’m not sure which spec I wanna go with. Was wondering if anyone had some input on which one to do first or which one is the best. I am kinda leaning towards rogue or wetwork. Does it really matter which one you choose first if you plan on unlocking them all at some point anyway?
Start with Pioneer so you can progress through the others more quickly.
Pioneer for sure. The armor isn’t that cool looking(IMO), but the perk is worth it to rank up faster in the other specializations. I get around 9100 xp per game of Spartan Ops every time. That is playing Spartan Ops matchmaking, to be precise.

As well as EXP bonuses’, imo it has some of the best armor bits!

Personally, go for Operator. It makes vehicle combat much more worthwhile.
Wow everyone wants to go Pioneer! For me, I didn’t care much for leveling fast. The best specialization (gameplay wise) in my opinion is Rogue. It gives you stability, which reduces recoil when you are being shot at. Can help a lot in long distance battles in CTF or such

Thanks for the input. Looks like pioneer seems to be the best choice. Then I guess it doesn’t matter which spec you choose after that, just based on play style I imagine.

Just a heads up if you didn’t already know. Once you hit 130 you will be stuck with the specialization name that you did last. So you might want to think about which one to do last.
It depends on the player.
Pick engineer if you want to know when ordinances are dropping before other players.
Pick Pioneer if you want to rank up faster.
Pick rogue if you have bad aim.
Pick tracker if you want to pick a different ordinance in Slayer.
IMO those are the most important specializations in the game with the exclusion of pioneer, It’s pointless after 130.

Pioneer, and just play SpOps Co-Op, because you’ll get rewarded about 9100 to 9200 exp. heres a better explanation.
If you were to play only SpOps through an entire Spec. Do this.
Spec rank 1 - play 2 games (11,730 exp)
Spec rank 2 - play 2 games (12,760 exp)
Spec rank 3 - play 2 games (18,240 exp)
Spec rank 4 - play 4 games (29,320 exp)
Spec rank 5 - play 5 games (39,360 exp)
Spec rank 6 - play 5 games (47,740 exp)
Spec rank 7 - play 7 games (54,960 exp)
Spec rank 8 - play 7 games (60,470 exp)
Spec rank 9 - play 7 games (63,820 exp)
i guarantee you, you’ll finish each specialization in 2 to 3 days, if you play for 4 hours a day.

I did not know this. So after you reach 50 and choose your spec, at what level do you get to choose the next spec? I thought it was just like every 50 levels. I haven’t researched it good enough.

Every 10 you pick a new one. 50 to 130 is 80 levels so 8 specializations.
Pioneer. After that, it doesn’t matter. Just pick one. My advice: stay away from Engineer, Stalker, and Wetwork. Their special perks are absolutely useless.
It definitely makes sense to choose pioneer first then. The question now I guess is which one do I play last!! Oh the choices!!!

Choose whichever title you like the best last, since you’re going to be stuck with it forever. I chose Engineer last.
