I’ve been hoping to get better loadout weapons (permanent use) but I don’t seem to be having a lot of luck. I’ve got a ton of single use items and logos, but very few permanent weapons. I’ve been mostly getting silver and gold. Only tried bronze once - not too spectacular. Curious to see which req packs gave you the best kit.
buy bronze until you get the Nadir Emblem.
then silver til you get all uncommon and rare
then gold
I think in my opinion is to start off with silver packs for a number of reasons the first being price wise they have the best available gear for the price point. they cost 5000 req points and guarantee two permanent unlocks per case with bronze they are cheaper but they do not have the guarantee of a permanent unlock so you could get garbage. also you have anywhere from common to rare in silver packs which is also what a lot of gold pack items are so if you buy gold you end up paying more req points for stuff you could get for less req. so id say silver there are other reasons too but I don’t want to bore you
You should just do it methodically and max out bronze–>silver–>gold. It takes a lot of grinding but it’s the sole way to get everything in the fastest and cheapest manner. But if you really want the good weapons then only buy gold as they are the only pack to give the ultra rare and legendary items.
I’m still struggling to get all the silver, uncommon and rare items, but I hate the thought of spending 10k on gold and getting worthless uncommon armor and emblems.
Just remember that 343 hates you and wants all your money.

pretty much everything common is unlocked when you get the Rare Nadir Emblem from Bronze Packs.
by then you will have every common weapon, weapon variant, helmet and armor.
without wasting req points on Silver to get the same reward.
gold
bronze - common
silver — common - uncommon - rare
gold ------------------uncommon - rare - ultra rare - legendary (mythic)
if you intend to avoid Overlap, bronze til common is gone.
I would say bronze is good if you need more of something you have a certification in (need more ghosts, shotguns, etc.) Personally, I go between silver and gold. Gold has given me some really good stuff…and more common stuff. Silver’s given a good mix of common and uncommon. Overall, silver is pretty dependable for mid level stuff and Gold is good if you’re willing to gamble for rare and higher stuff or common and uncommon stuff.
I’m buying Silver until everything is unlocked, then Gold.
I normally just open up whatever I feel like. Most of the time I do bronze/silver packs, but I will do an occasional gold pack to see what I get. But if you want my honest opinion about which req pack to choose, it’s all up to. Gamble with what req pack your feeling, and see what ya can get from it.
I buy gold every time. I get rares and up. I tried the silver before gold thing, but I just got uncommons. I don’t know if it’s true, but I feel like getting gold gets be 2 silver packs but with better stuff.

I did gold from lvl 1-30, and got some cool things but zero certs from them. I then went to silver mainly and a few bronze for the last 20 lvls and have been receiving a lot of standard certs, which is great, but then I would buy a lot of bronze after it seemed like the weapon certs were less and less. A few days back a tread talked about the value of bronze and such, and they determined that bronzes give out a low level permanent about 75% of the time. since its less than 33% of the cost of silver but draws from 50% of the loot its best to buy Bronze first.
And 50% of the time it works every time.
I tend to alternate between bronze and silvers most of the time, as you can get decent weapons from the silver, yet get good value for money.

How can you tell when you have all of the common items?
