Any thoughts on which req packs to buy for my req points ?
Bronze 1250req
Silver 5000req
or
Gold 10000req
Anyone has any clue which items you get in which pack ?
If you are just starting your collection, start with bronze. Unlock all the common stuff then move on to silver.
Start with Silvers and get everything from Common to Rare, then spend money on Golds to get Ultra Rare and Legendary.
Start with bronze then silver then gold.
As you see there is some dispute as to whether you should start Bronze or Silver. The main thing is with Bronze you are not always guaranteed a permanent unlock to pop. Whereas with the Silvera you are. I, however, am of the school…Bronze, Silver, then Gold. That is what I did, and I was happy with the results.
Keeping all this in mind, if I were you, and unlocking armor was the main focus, I would save up and buy the Classic Helmet pack before it disappears. These helmets are not available in the pool, and there is no official plan to make them so.
If your plan is to unlock everything just keep plugging away. It will take you quite some time no matter what route you take. It is worth it in the end.
One last thing, if you can, watch as much of the HCS streams as you can. They give away Gold packs. I earned 21 of them the last Qualifier they had. Any you may earn don’t open them until you are finished with the Silver grind. Good luck! Don’t quit!

This. While you might have some success to the bronze Req pack method, most of the time you’re playing with fire against the RNG gods.

what level are you? it depends on your level and how far you are in the game
Well that depends on what are your goals in H5. Do you want to unlock everything? Are you just playing and don’t care about unlocks? As most here pointed out the best thing to do is buy bronze packs or silver packs first. Once silver packs refund you two 1500 point req cards instead of the two permanent unlocks that means you have unlocked everything at their level. Then move on to golds. Golds will refund two 3000 point req cards when you unlocked everything. The req pack grind is very long. I would recommend playing warzone firefight and use rp boost/jackpots as you get them. Also pay attention to your commendations. Achieving commendations get you packs as well.

Sage advice from a wise Spartan! I also got tons of packs watching the HCS.

This is the method I used, and recommend to anyone starting out.
Just to add, if you start with bronze first, you can get up to 4 items (possible 1 in each pack) for 5000 points vs 2 from a silver.
Personally, I started with Silver and then went to Gold. I can’t recall ever buying one Bronze pack now that I think about it.
silver all the way until you get all the perm unlocks best bang for your points!
Here’s how you should go about it
- Start with bronzes to get soem armor on ya/get some starter REQs - Once you’ve completed the collecting of Common-ranked REQs, move up to silver and get even better items - Got yours silvers done? Good, now for the ultimate test…GOLD PACKS! Grind out them suckers and get teh fanciest/overpowered(or overly broken) weapons/vehicles in the game!
