Do you prefer using the smart scope to get an edge on your aiming, or do you stay true to the original game and only use it when on sniping long distance?
I think smart scope is useless for automatic weapons, but they come in handy for that last chance.
It’s not a “play style” at all (the concept of play styles in halo is ridiculous anyway but that’s besides the point).
Which is better for the situation? Zooming in? Do it. Hip fire? Do it. It’s not a preference or anything.

Sorry I would’ve said that but the 50 character post title forbids me

Ouch, true but harsh xD. But I know that I rarely if ever scope in with any weapon simply because I don’t like dealing with descope even though I could, I have enough confidence in my ability to kill you without scoping in so I guess that could be considered a play style based on using smart scope or not.
I mean I prefer whatever is relevant. Im not gonna use smart scope point blank and descope at long range

No worries at all. I get what your thread is about regardless.
i only aim when i can’t hit them “from the hip.” Does anyone else feel like it doesn’t do anything to increase the range of weapons?
If you’re always scoping all the time, you’re doing it wrong… If you don’t scope, you’re immune to getting descoped, and your aim will be much steadier.
Scoping is fairly situational… great when enemies are at range and oblivious to your position.
