Before I move forward, I don’t want to see “I’m not pre-ordering, 343i can eat it” or anything. It’s getting old.
Anyways…
Just wondering what everyone will be pre-ordering? Will you be going digital or physical? I want a physical copy but don’t want to wait to install after I pick it up after midnight (that’s how hyped I am).
Also do you think the limited and collectors editions are worth it? Not sure If I’m willing to drop $250 for the game and it’s extras.
Thoughts?
I’m personally waiting to see what the rumored Halo 5 XBOne bundle will include.

Limited Edition (The middle one).
If elites are playable I plan to buy the legendary edition like I have every time.
If they are not, then i’ll be skipping this game.
Unless they change their minds and include a disc in the LCE, I’m getting the limited edition
I’ll get the $250 edition and likely the Xbone as well. I like my stuff to have halo -Yoink- slapped on it as much as possible lol.

That was a thing about 343 not mastering porting in time. Ready Up Live did a video about it, watch that for info. Halo 5 will not have launch issues.
I will be preordering Limited Edition. I’m unfortunately cancelling my standing preorder of the Limited Collector’s Edition because of 343’s decision to put a digital copy in there instead of a disc copy. So disappointed.
I currently have the LCE pre-ordered but I would really like the disc as well. Hopefully they end up adding it. Or if the statue isn’t anything special I will switch the the LE edition.

You’ll probably be skipping then. I don’t care if you do ONLY because your reason is poor. But it’s pretty obvious that there’s not going to be playable elites being that they made an elite armor for a spartan.

have they confirmed that there is no physical copy, it does come with the steelbook after all
I’m not pre-ordering. Nothing political, I just don’t see any reason to not walk in Walmart that morning and buy it off the shelf.
With Halo 4 I bought the limited for the free DLC pass, but now that all DLC will be free I can’t really see a point to buying anything beyond the standard edition.
