Which order to read the books?

I have been reading the Halo books a lot recently and I am just wondering what the best order to read them is?

If you check out the Halopedia page on the “Halo novels” they give a very short summary of each of the individual books (i.e. not part of a series) as well as the date they were published :slight_smile:

There isn’t really an order, most books span over 30 years and interlock stories and events. I’d really just read them in order of release, starting with the fall of reach, GREAT book

There is an order the Canon order.

I think CIA391 (I think that’s his GT) has a list somewhere that can help. Not sure where it is or if I’m remembering something wrong. I’ll post a link if I can find it and if it exists.

I have a few lists but I recommend the Halo Chrinological Order Thread. As it has what you asked as in books in Story order in a simply way. Regardless take your poison.

I was literally about to say the same thing xD

But yeah, if you want to get the full experience, do it in canonical order.
