So who would you want to be in combat the most?
ODST or Spartan
Why not a marine? =P Uhhh, while being a Spartan would be amazing I’d have to go with an ODST. I’d rather be a normal soldier instead of some war machine that was abducted as a child and vigorously trained and augmented.

I think it’s a safe bet that becoming a Spartan IV is much safer than becoming a Spartan II or III.

Probably. But I don’t honestly think I would want to be a Spartan IV though. It seems there might be a side-effect where after the augmentations where you get a really cocky, better than everyone attitude and don’t really want to risk suffering from that side-effect. =P

IS it because you don’t get kidnap and get huge needle shot? If so then lol.

I would have to agreed but I think the Spartan 2 were a lot worst because you get kidnap, never get to see your parents, force to become a super soldier, had to take and survive deadly needles, now that a lot worst and that something that nobody want to sign up for to become a Spartan 2.
I’d rather be a civilian in all honesty, but if I had to choose, I’d say I’d like to be a Spartan IV.

My gut reaction is Spartan because they bad -Yoink-, but then I remember what they were put through and the parts of a normal human life they are deprived of and my decision switches pretty quickly over to ODST.
This of course is assuming you mean Spartan II or Spartan III. The Spartan IVs are basically just ODST that are stronger and have better armor.

It can be any program. But yea the Spartan 2 and 3 went a lot of pain.
