Oh jeez I meant to put up both as an option, thanks for the reminder
I was never a huge fan of infection in Reach, though with the new changes, it looks very promising. Still, I think I’d have to go with dominion, it looks incredibly fun. I’ll still be trying out infection, though, it seems like it could be a much better experience this time around.

The biggest issue I had with Reach’s Infection was how unbalanced it felt. Survivors climbing up to hard to get places, the sword being underpowered compared to the shotgun, Infection went from being about trying to survive to being a duck shooting gallery. Hopefully Flood will bend the curve and bring back more of a Halo 3-esque feel in regards of balance.
If they made changes to make Flood fair and not just a strategy of piling bodies until they die, then I’ll try Flood out. I wasn’t a big fan of Infection in Reach. I was in Halo 3, and in Halo 2, but not that was when they had maps to support the game fairly.
Dominion looks very promising. A game of territories with a much bigger emphasis on actually defending/capturing bases, instead of just running around shooting people.
I feel infection shined in custom maps more then match making. Me and my friends would play this one map where you would start off, then you would have to get in a warthog and race to a ramp and make a jump to a huge building that would would have to try and defend. it was awesome.

Thats it. It was a modified version I think though. And we played with different game settings.
