When it comes to melee weapons, everyone knows the Covenant makes the best. However, what is hard to tell is which weapon is better. Is it the Energy Sword, specifically designed for stealth and close quaters, or the Gravity Hammer, made for causing a large area of damage and for using over welming power. I specifically like the Energy Sword, for i favor Elites. What do you think?

Hmm… Sword wins on style points, can cut through everything.
But the Gravity Hammer you can keep swinging and nobody can touch you.

That or maybe it’s an eyesore to see X amount of the same subject then people start making threads complaining that their threads aren’t seen as often are are taking back seats in the forums.
Play the Name Blame Game all you want, this place is a mess and people making ridiculous multi-threads like this, are the problem. Not to mention, it’s advocated by the mods/admins to help clean up if you can.
I’ll take back seat modding over driving the forums into crap, ala Biff Tannen.

Meh, no need to bicker guys. Pointing out duplicate threads is helpful so we can go ahead and merge them. We all look out for each other and we’re all on the same team. I’d say kiss and make up but that might be weird.

Normally, I’d definitely agree. I’m never one to turn down a little slap and tickle. But I only go for <mark>quality</mark>.

Acccccctually, the covenant derived ALL their tech from the Forerunners. So, technically they’re just copyright infringing.

Humans used Forerunner and Covenant tech like they were cheating off of someone elses test. The Covenant outright infringed (and poorly. Its bad taste to repeat their process but we do have a term for it in the capitalist world.)
And I call boomstick over all. I can use it to extend my reach when it runs out of ammo and beats the other 2 before they get close enough. And what happens when the others run out of ammo? They become no different than my empty boomstick.

And even so, they’re all considered “crude remakes” of the original tech. The only thing the Covies DID get right was Slipspace Travel.
The UNSC at least has the solace of actually creating it’s own weapons instead of stealing from “The Gods”.

What shotgun are YOU using? If you’re within the weapons length of another player, it’s a one shot kill. I love “chest thumping” with the shotty. It’s only a one hit from a short distance if it’s a head shot which aren’t my luck.
I love how someone tried to trash my K/D…which isn’t spectacular and I know it, b/c my TOD is melee. Which is hilarious b/c Melee has the most options for a medal - Hammer, Sword, Pummel and not to mention Assassinations count towards 'em.
Of course that’s all they’d look at. Not looking at the amount of Living Dead and Grifball I’ve played which has the 3 integral forms of melee - Hammer, Sword and Pummel. I never even liked Grifball (a melee weapon itself) until my buddy got me to jam with him every now and then. I on the other hand LOVE Living dead and it’s got all 3 sets of Melee options with the Pistol.
That aside, I’ve stated many times my favorite combo is Sword/Shotgun/Camo. I would totally be up for grabs if I claimed I was Pwntacular or something but I’m just an average joe’shmo.

I would just like to point out that Grifball is in fact the best game variant ever to grace the world of Halo. It’s fun because you get to use a hammer!
