which map pack should i buy?
None. Seriously.
There are no DLC playlists anymore, except for Halo CE anniversary, and even that only has 2 playlists. (Anniversary classic and Firefight).
If you haven’t bought Halo CE anniversary yet, do yourself a favour and just get MCC. So you get the real CE multiplayer experience.
At this point I’d say don’t buy any of the DLC’s. If you want them solely for custom games purposes I’d say get whichever map pack includes the bonus firefight map. However it’s too late into Halo Reach to buy any DLC’s. Halo Reach has a fair population of players, but it’s not as populated as it once was and the DLC playlists probably won’t have many players. I’ve been eyeing the DLC’s myself and personally I’d only buy them if they went on sale, but there hasn’t been a change in price of any Halo DLC’s even in Halo 3. The only time I’d see any of the Halo DLC’s go on sale is right before the death of Xbox Live on the Xbox 360.
