So I am planning on buying a map pack today. I want to know what one you guys think is the best based on:
Best maps
Best achievements
Most commonly found in matchmaking
If anyone knows which dlc maps are going to be in squad dlc playlist

Buy Champions or Majestic pack.
Maps=Majestic for smaller, Castle for bigger
Achievements=Crimson lets you in on 60 points for just boarding and destroying a Mantis, but a lot of the ones are specific map-based. Majestic has some toughies, but pays well, and you can get a 50 point one in custom games. Castle is the most fun in my opinion. They’re diverse, and as much of a challenge as they are easy!
Warning=If you’re just in it for maps and cheevos, don’t get Champions. Also, DLC maps are very rare to appear in matchmaking. To add to that, some achievements are glitchy, and won’t unlock for some. It’s different for everyone. Some say it’s linked to playing with Champs gear/maps, but who knows. It’s not many that won’t worked so don’t worry.
And I’m pretty sure Squad DLC will include all packs.
since there is currently no dlc playlist (i played about 20 matches today and only one of them was on a dlc map), i recommend to buy champions bundle. Besides vertigo and pitfall, there is also some other nice in game content and not only maps which will rarely appear.
Get Champions Pack for sure, if you’re looking to play some of the DLC Maps on Halo 4 you’re out of luck unless you want to host a custom game by yourself and shoot the ground and look around on some of them. You will almost never get into a DLC Map in Matchmaking. Champions comes with Skins, Armor, and some other things, along with maps, Champions is worth it for sure.

Champions Bundle will probably give you more value for your money because it contains armor, weapon skins, and stances instead of a third map. You can use that stuff whether or not anyone else in the lobby has the DLC too.
