Even though I think the Majestic maps are the most amazing overall I really just have a fantastic time whenever I play Daybreak from the Castle map pack. It has the perfect amount of cover and its gorgeous to boot.
I really have to say though that I’m not sure why complex gets so much hate. That’s my second favorite.
I think Outcast is my favorite as it’s so warthog friendly

Outcast is by far my favorite map in Halo 4. It’s great for vehicular gameplay and is perfect for objective gametypes like CTF.
The Castle Map Pack definitely has the best maps in the game imo.
Well since there is no Standoff remake I will have to go with Ragnarok.

I liked playing on Meldown. But I possibly like Longbow more, but only if I am on Blue team. When I am on Red team I always get crushed, IDK why…

lol, that true, blue teams seems to blend into the map easily. Even i have a hard time finding them. Also, i believe the blue side of Meltdown is lower than the Red Team, IMO.
Haven for smaller maps, Longbow for larger maps.
Abandon is the best asymmetrical map since Powerhouse in Halo Reach.

Default Large : Exile/Valhalla/Longbow
Crimson : Shatter/Harvest
Majestic : Skyline/Landfall
Castle : Daybreak/Outcast/Perdition
Forge : Lockout/Simplex
I am a fan of Close Quarters Combat so probably Skyline from Majestic. The maps are probably one of the things I truly like about Halo 4, they’re so detailed and fun to play on.
In my opinion, I think Perdition is the best because it is a mix of both vehicle, long range, and close quarters combat. I also like how it is in abandoned city streets, it gives it a more realistic feel.
Simplex, seriously whoever made that map I love you it’s my all time favorite for Halo 4.

For maps in the current state. I would say I love Haven and Longbow.
