Title. I am going to have to say Halo 2 so many enemies and they all have active camo.
I would have to agree, halo 2 is probably the hardest game without skulls, and when you add skulls it would get pretty hard. I’ve never played any LASO yet, I’m just guessing from the bits of legendary halo 2 I’ve played.

I haven’t even been able to get past the first section of enemies on Cairo Station.
Honestly, i would say all LASO’s can be hard. I’ve tried LASO but failed. 2 & 3 are up there along with ODST.
H2 LASO is definitely the hardest, followed by HCE, then Halo 4.
Halo 3, Reach, and ODST were all the easiest.
I’ve beaten all of them on LASO except H2, still working on beating Gravemind.
Anyone who doesn’t say H2 is a liar. I don’t think there is much room for debate, Halo 2 is the undisputed LASO king. Killing regret, gravemind start, gravemind elevator, and Cairo station pelican rooms are probably the most difficult segments in all of LASO.
Halo 2 easily, the sheer amount of ridiculous skulls such as the assassins skull make it reasonably harder than the other halo games.
