It can be either permanent or rotational, it can be in both Arena and Social, Warzone and Custom Games also count. My personal favorite game mode has always been Team Arena, but I am looking into HCS because of it being the most competitive.

While I don’t play it near as often as I would like it’s definitely FFA. Heroic warzone firefight is good, I mainly play it to grind out XP. Followed closely with super fiesta especially now since they added the anniversary throwback maps.

Unfortunately, the playlist surprisingly lacks any hard vehicle action and this game has the worst team-balancing system in any Halo game I played (excluding MCC).

I am so happy, thank you for pointing it out. Do you know if other playlist has maps from past Halo games? I would really like to play them, specially a Blood Gulch remake.

Maybe you should try having a fireteam with people you know, that way you would have a pretty much balanced team.

The only other playlist that has maps from past games is BTB. Action sack has block fort which is laid out like the pit essentially.

Legendary is fun, and I played it a lot back when that was the only option, but these days I mostly play Heroic because it’s easier and less bullet-spongy. Sometimes when I can get my buddies to join, we’ll go for Legendary or Mythic but they haven’t had time to play Halo with me lately 
And I would play more BTB, but like BlueChief117 says, it lacks vehicles in Halo 5. My favorite game mode in previous Halo games was BTB Heavies but sadly Halo 5 lacks anything like it, outside of Warzone.

No I don’t want to force myself being into fireteam I’ll rather freelance it. Sounds wrong to force yourself to be in a fireteam and also I don’t have any friends that plays Halo 5.

Tried it multiple times and never ever found a game
I live in Australia so that explains why I can’t find games other than “Expanded” and occasionally “Balanced”.

Everyone has quit H5 except 2 mates and it’s getting to the point of pulling teeth to get them to play. lol Even the ppl in my SC gave up getting the helmet. No split-screen, SC’s and no true BTB really killed H5 with my close friends.

I know how it feels to have to pester friends to play. Today I talked to my best buddy Chaz and I said “hey let’s play Halo” and he said “nah let’s play Monster Hunter instead”. And in my case, my Spartan Company is my close friends. Lack of split-screen hurts a lot, too. My girlfriend and I usually end up playing other games together because of that, even though she likes Halo. It’s a damn shame. Here’s hoping Halo 6 has BTB Heavies along with split-screen
