ive already read Fall of Reach, what book should i go to next? maybe glasslands? or Silentium? suggestions?
Yeah i got glasslands its very interesting i got it more as a collectors item

Only read fall of reach and first strike, reach was better IMO.

The Flood
After Fall of Reach you should read The Flood, then First Strike, since its the sequel, then Ghost of Onyx which is the sequel to that. There all great books. My personal favorite is Ghost of Onyx. I also would recommend reading the Forerunner Trilogy once your done with those.

EDIT 2: After TFoR, you should read The Flood, as that comes next in chronological order.

My favorite is fall of reach, maybe because of the magic of the first, but especially because it talked about Halsey, Keyes, and S-II program, and showed a great view, from before the war to after, with the drama of reach falling.
After I would suggest reading the flood and then first strike and onyx. But you could also go with a “spin off” like cole protocols which was very nice or contact on harvest.
ABSOLUTELY avoid glass lands and that trilogy, before read all the others, it’s a too big chronological step and also they basically send -Yoinking!- much of previous halo lore.
Forerunner trilogy doesn’t have anything to do with above novels, i suggest reading them for last.
Cryptum, then Primordium and finally Silentinum - they’re the most relevant to the current story arc and (IMO) the best written ones. Although, they are more difficult to read than TFoR.
Favourite so far is silentium.
I enjoyed the Cole Protocol the most since it had a Covenant perspective of things.

My favourite has got to be First Strike, don’t know why.
Traviss’ books get a lot of bad press, I enjoyed them personally, but that’s just my opinion.
Like The Flood, I think it’s worth reading them even if you only do it once, as they do focus on Jul 'Mdama to some extent and it’s nice to know where your villains come from.
The Forerunner books are also an excellent read.
Ghosts of Onyx and Silentium are my favorite.
