So far I’ve unlocked 18/21 assault rifles so only a few to go. I always swap out my AR for an SMG at REQ5, but my go to REQ3 AR is one with Kinetic bolts…but what do you rate as the best AR and why?
It all depends. Each has their own advantage in a little way, the Longshot AR, in my opinion, is horrid without the recoil stabilizers. I feel like it pulls up too much.
For the majority of the time, though, I run with the Kinetic Bolts for extra vehicle damage or the Silencer when I grab my Advanced Sensors and go complete Ninja on enemy bases. Although the Silencer normally reduces the range you’re spotted on enemy sensors, with Advanced Sensors, you’re entirely invisible, even you sprint or fire a non-Silenced weapon. However the Energy Bayonet AR seems like a fun choice if I ever unlock it. An extended melee and increased damage is great, especially when trying to backstab that guy who’s just out of reach.
I’m thinking recon with stabalizers
All ARs preform the same nevertheless. It depends on the situation at hand, and what you really need.
Need CQB? Grab the Bayonet AR, want to be sneaky with the AS Mod? Go get the Silencer, got several Warthogs running rampant, slaughtering everyone? Get the Kinetic Bolts!
