Personally, I switch between the 2 quite a bit. When I feel like being competitive I play arena. When I start doing terrible I switch to Warzone to relax and have fun.
I would guess Arena has more time spent in it overall because it is the traditional Halo experience. But Warzone as a playlist is likely one of the highest played lists routinely.
Personally, I’m about 50/50 in each.

Arena! I have spent almost 9 days on arena and only 4 days on Warzone! Arena just has way more to offer! Warzone is pretty much the exact same every game.
I play both, warzone is for when i have no team and i want to farm some reqs, arena is for kicking -Yoink-!

I strictly play Arena. Played one game of Warzone and wasn’t a big fan. I’m sure I’ll try it again.
i play pretty much only warzone cuz im noob. but id hope arena has more players
I play strictly wz because the movement mechanics favor it so much.
H5 (and for that matter, h4) changed the movement mechanics so much that it’s just not the same game that it used to be, and I don’t like it at all in the smaller playlists.
But I enjoy WZ as though it’s a completely different entity that’s entirely removed from what halo was supposed to be.
I switch between both, I would normally use warzone for warm ups but infection has taken its job. I also play infection more than warzone now. Before infection was around I would play warzone more often than arena just to prey on the noobs
I like both but I think warzone is more popular. Personally I play them about equally but there are also the extremists who only play one or the other
