I see people from time to time saying the AR should be nerfed. Well if I recall correctly, in Reach, people hated the AR because it was a peashooter. Now it can finally be useful for what it’s meant for. Why do I see threads from time to time of people who want the AR nerfed? Did they just get killed a few times by it and complained because they can’t use their DMR to beat it or is it something else?
P.S. To those who hate the Boltshot, I use the Boltshot all the time, it’s a lifesaver and whenever I’m in Slayer and get in cover so I can avoid dieing but I can see somebody coming, I can use the Boltshot to avoid giving the enemy a point and give my team a point. I can see it’s overpowered because of a larger range than the Shotgun or scattershot but they can lower the range, it would take some adjustments to get used to it, but I hate it when theres a bunch of Active Camo people with DMR’s and Boltshots, thats what gets on my nerves…
Yep you got it, Its just players who get out played that complain. The AR is spot on as it should be, a close range danger and no better than a potato gun at range. People that tend to complain about the AR are the “DMR is fine” crowd, they assume it should beat out an AR for some reason. So they want it nerfed, as they cant compete close up and the DMR is already OP as it is.
AR is fine. i think it properly balanced. i still don’t ever use it. i think i got one kill with it. not sure how anyone can think the DMR is OP still confused on that

Let’s remove all weapons and we’ll resort to sprinting at each other and using collision for damage.
