Which is better reach or 4?

Just curious what you guys think.

They are amazing in both ways…

In halo 4 the weapons de spawn so quickly like I kill an enemy and their weapon seems to dissaper immediately.

But halo 4s campaign is amazing also I love there armor types, also I love the invisibility way better than halo reach

Halo reach has some flaws but I’ll list a few
• The invisibility sucks (I love invisibility as you can tell)

• I didn’t quite get the campaign

• there are way to many glitches that bungee needs to fix

What I love about reach though is the graphics… when I first played halo 4 I was like wow this is way different than reach in some ways so theres that…

therefore I like halo 4s multiplayer and campaign better than reach but I love halo reaches custom games so much better

I love halo 4 mainly for the feel and campaign but sorry I have to give to halo reach. Halo reach is just better.

I loved halo 4’s campaign and multiplayer. The soundtrack was amazing and the story brought so much emotion.But as a halo game i think reach is better over all.

Reach. Though I’m going to assume a lot of people are going to say Halo 4 just because of the thread we are in.

I believe Reach is better in my opinion. The armor, the details for everything being more like modern day military, the story. It is my favorite halo game after all. Halo 4’s story wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been better. The armor changes, detail changes being all of a sudden instead of slowly changing ruined it being immursive. The one thing that made me upset was the customization going into lower quality. Same with my favorite helmet (EVA) no longer being a fishbowl. The infection game mode was a bust, the attempt at a Forge World was a bust, Making maps in general was a bust.

Cortana dying was one of the few things in 4’s campaign that made sense. Palmer was kind of just there. Spartan Ops should’ve been more known, and Halsey should’ve stayed the bad guy in 5. 5 ruined what could’ve been a wonderful send off for Cortana in 4. But Reach, all of them were set to die (except Jun). They all fought and even if one or two of them died horribly, none of Noble Team died in vain. This was my opinion on the matter. 4 was my favorite all-time halo for multiplayer.

Reach was a good send off from Bungie with a fantastic Spartan customisation. I like Reach more but 4 is still a good Halo game but failed in customisation, infection and weapon and armour design.

I like the EOD helmet from reach. Probably my favorite thing about reach. I liked the story too.

Halo Reach

Halo: Reach is better in almost every aspect. The only things Halo 4 does better are Armor Abilities, which are much more well-balanced in this game… it also has a better selection of multiplayer maps, though unfortunately custom loadouts and ordnance spoil most of the fun. Automatic weapons like the Assault Rifle are also much better balanced in Halo 4… you can actually kill a fully-shielded Elite with an AR on Heroic in Halo 4, which I like.

As far as campaign goes, both games have equally good story and pacing… though Halo: Reach outdoes Halo 4 with open levels like ONI Sword Base and New Alexandria, and the space mission in Reach is light-years ahead of Halo 4.

Halo: Reach’s highly customizable and infinitely replayable Firefight mode blows Spartan Ops away. The only thing Spartan Ops does better is allowing the use of heavy vehicles like the Scorpion and Mantis, and also allowing you to highjack Banshees in at least one mission.

Halo: Reach has better all-around multiplayer than Halo 4. Certain armor abilities like Armor Lock can be annoying yes, but are far less annoying than having ordnance and Plasma Pistol starts in game modes like Big Team Battle. It also has playable Elites and Invasion mode.

Armor customization in Halo: Reach is hands down the best in the series. The utilitarian look of the armor suits Halo perfectly and helps you to create a more realistic-looking Spartan… having that look reflected in every game mode is a huge plus. Halo 4’s armor customization would be good if it weren’t for the terrible new art style and colored bodysuits.

I love both so I say tie.

I love them both equally.

I’d say Reach is a better game in general, but it’s kind of give and take when comparing them.

Reach has a better campaign from a level design/gameplay standpoint, but I really like the Cortana/Chief storyline in Halo 4; Multiplayer is better in Reach in a general sense but the armor abilities in Halo 4 are more balanced, I prefer 4’s Scorpion because of the Projectile Arc, but I’m not a big fan of the Mantis…or whatever they called killstreaks and perks in Halo 4. (Specializations? idk) Then again, I hate armor lock…

I’ve definitely played Firefight in Reach more than Spartan Ops (2 playthroughs at most) though imo neither compare to ODST’s Firefight.
Forge is better in Halo Reach, and I never got into customs in Halo 4 so I can’t comment on that front.
Aaaand Theater is also better in Reach because it actually works in Campaign.

That and subjectively I think Halo Reach has a far better art-style and armor customization. Also Invasion was ditched in 4 so…

I won’t mess with the stories, both have their charms. But multiplayer I stay with Halo 4, it’s less competitive and funnier than Halo Reach. You can choose your favorite game mode in the beginning, on Reach you had to pray that it showed up and the players voted for it. Like the case of CTF, it is already on the Multiplayer Menu. But in graphics, Halo Reach its better, the armors looks more realistic than Halo 4, the Halo 4 armors are cool too, but they are too shining. On Halo Reach the armors are more dark.
