Which has longer range, the hammer or the sword?

In my experience the hammer has some insane range so i’m wondering which weapon has the longest lunge range without smartscoping.

Sword has a longer smart scope range.

Sword is probably a little bit longer but I do feel like the hammer has way more range than in other game though.

I think they are the same without using Smart Scope.
