I was a real big Halo player back in the days of the first Halo ever. I believe it was 2000. then life took over and I stopped playing and 17 years later I want back in. I see since 2000 there have been many releases and I would like to know which Halo should I buy to get back into the online multiplayer? Thank you all.
Pick up The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One. It had a disastrous release in 2014 but 343 Industries just announced that they’re going back to work on the game again with the release of the Xbox One X. They’re going to fix the bugs, glitches, and flaws with the game. With that being said, The Master Chief Collection (MCC) is an incredible game! You can play Halo CE and Halo 2 online along with Halo 3 and Halo 4. All the campaigns, all the multiplayer DLC, 4,000 achievements, its well worth it. It’ll get you caught up and bring back some old memories too

MCC is great if you have an Xbox One and you want to play campaigns. ODST will only be $5 this way too so I’d say its worth it just becase of all the extras it packs too like Halo CE and Halo 2 Anniversary, 60fps, 1080p, etc. If you just have an original Xbox I’d say Halo 2 if you have a 360 I’d say Halo 3. Luckily you can find every Halo game on ebay pretty cheap.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a great game to get because it has Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 all bundled in one.
Hit up the Master Chief Collection mang, is good for achievements and nostalgia. Not to mention playing multiplayer from 4 different Halo games is a very nice touch.
MCC if you want to live the old Halo days

If you want to play a good online multiplayer, Halo 5 has a good multiplayer (I played it few times over at Play Live Nation ).
lol don’t listen to these “Fans”. Anybody who truly considers themselves a Halo connoisseur would obviously recommend the masterpiece Halo: Spartan Assault the best Halo game ever to be created.
