Which Halo is YOUR Halo?

Which Halo game is your favorite of all the console games? Here’s my list…

  • Halo 3 - Halo Wars - Halo ODST - Halo 2 - Halo 4 - REACH - Combat Evolved - Halo 5This is not a discussion to bash anyone’s preference, or any games. This is just to see which games are most liked and by who.

Halo 3 is my favourite by a landslide.

  • Halo 3 - Halo 2 - Halo: CE - Halo 5 - ODST - Reach - Halo Wars - Halo 4

I agree with you 100%, Halo 3 is, by far, my absolute favorite! I LOVED that game, and there hasn’t been a matchmaking like it since… or a Forge like that one, for that matter.

I can’t be bothered listing mine because I love them all so much. But, for me personally Halo Reach is my Halo because it was the game that got me into my favorite series and got me into playing FPS’ and I really enjoyed Halo 2 above the rest. It’s odd to say but I believe Halo 2 is the best halo in the series but Reach is my favorite game overall.

Halo 2 was my favorite because when I was young, my dad and I would playthe campaign together. H2 is followed by H4 only because that is the game that got me into the multiplayer and made me strive to get better at Halo in general.

I really like Halo 4

CE forever.

All these years I would’ve considered “My Halo” to be Halo 3, but Reach has given me so much in that time. Halo 3 and Reach both have my favourite campaigns, soundtrack, multiplayer, game modes, custom game experience, etc. so it’s hard to call.

Although I don’t know if I’ve played Reach as much as I have because it’s a stellar game or because I don’t like the alternatives, Halos 4 and 5…

Halo 3 was the first console game I owned. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Either Halo 2 or Reach, 3 is probably my least favorite of the games.

Halo 5 was my first gateway into the online Halo scene.

halo 3

…and that’s a burden I must endure.

A burden?, lol. Go back and play them, I’m sure there’s still people on the original Halo 3, or REACH or Halo 4. Or you could just play all the campaigns on Master Chief Collection.

Halo 4… please

Halo CE is my all-time favorite. It has my favorite sandbox of all the Halo games. The running and driving just feel so smooth. Halo 2 is a very close second due to its introduction of Xbox Live and expanded gametype options. The ability-riddled Halo games bring up the rear for me, by a very wide margin.

  1. Halo CE
  2. Halo 2
  3. Halo 3

Any shooter that doesn’t have abilities
  4. Halo Reach

pretty much any game from any genre, even garbage like the newer CoD games

  5. Halo 5
  6. Halo 4
  1. Halo 3
  2. Halo 3: ODST
    3: Halo: CE
    4: Halo 2
    5: Halo Wars
    6: Halo: Reach
    7: Halo 4
    8: Halo 5

Halo 3 will always be my favourite because it introduced me to wonderful world of Halo. It provided me with laughs and memories that will probably stay with me for the rest of my life. Playing custom games until 4am, getting my first 50, getting my five star general, forging possibly the worst maps ever, 1v1ing that random Gunnery Sergeant in a blank canvas of Foundry with every weapon in the game on the floor, hiding in Team Doubles for the lols. Just everything about Halo 3 was perfect and it’s sad to see it the way it is now (Only Lone Wolves, Team Slayer and Social Slayer seem to be populated).

I would have to say Halo Reach. While the Bloom and Abilities were at times frustrating, the friends I have made in that game, and memories made make it my favorite Halo game.

I love them all. Halo Reach was probably the most unique to me. Halo CE and Halo 2 were revolutionary, but I didn’t really dedicate disgusting amounts of time to either of them. ODST was pleasantly original. Halo 4 and 5 have defined 343’s legacy thus far and the story telling has gotten much better. But the Halo game that defines me absolutely has to be Halo 3. I know, it’s a bandwagon(y) thing to say, but that’s the game that I played crazy amounts of campaign, customs, multiplayer… everything. Every achievement, every vidmaster, every Easter egg. That was the one that laid the foundation of my love for Halo. You could literally feel the love that Bungie poured into that game. It was amazing.
