Halo 2 Anniversary hands down is my favorite. I pretty much play it exclusively. I think not only is it gorgeous but the gameplay is the best of the bunch. The maps are my absolute favorite from the series as well.
Halo 3 is my least favorite. Not only does it take absolutely forever to down someone, but I just don’t like how it feels when shooting. It feels hollow and unsreponsive.
Halo Reach has some highs but too many lows for me. The rifle is the biggest problem for me. I always hated that bloom. I have always enjoyed Invasion mode. That’s about all I play if I select Reach.
Actually Halo 4. I know that’s an unpopular choice.
H2A is my second favourite.
While H3 has one of my favourite campaigns I’m not really a fan of the MP. The gunplay feels like roulette due to the wonky hit-reg and increased spread on precision weapons. In H2A and H4 you can count on that you deal damage if your reticle is on target.
Halo CE but on MCC it’s so messed up what with the added spread to the magnum and bad hit reg but man when the game works it’s awesome. Also, H2A is a game I like to play when I don’t want to deal with hit reg issues, etc since that game doesn’t seem to have any big problems, unlike the original trilogy’s MCC ports.
I just do custom games. Haven’t even played fours multiplayer or 2As either. Really not even 2. That might be because there are no customs for 2. Did play the og Reach on an OG reach disc welp thanks 343I for shutting down the severs for the OG games. But have done 3 odst. No one has even talked about odst but odst mp is just firefight.
Halo 3 hands down, vehicles feel the most balanced, precision weapons don’t feel overpowered, visuals are solid, and even with how limited it is, Forge was probably the most fun for the customs that spawned through it
H2A is definitely my favorite… It had or actually still has a ton of potential. If only they just made H2A instead of MCC so we could have gotten way more remastered maps. H2A is about a perfect Halo, perhaps a bit to much bullet magmatism/aim assist but that could be toned down and fixed pretty easy. I really wish H2A would get some much needed love in more maps and cosmetics but we will never see it. I would even take the infection maps being added to FFA and 4v4, wouldn’t take to much adjustments to make them good maps for pvp.
Halo Reach all the way for me. It’s the only one I play, mostly because I don’t like the multiplayer in any of the other games in the collection. In fact it’s the only multiplayer game that I play in general.
How do you have a problem with h3 really? I mean H2A plays like a H3A imo
(I’d like to be clear that the treacherous part was a joke. I’m glad someone enjoys H2A, no one seems to but me. I still don’t understand how you don’t like h3 however)
To me, Halo 3 got the best maps, Reach the best shooting (love the needle rifle) en H2A is maybe better than all of them, but playing on the same 5 maps over and over again is a pain.
Such a great Forge editor too, but no way to get a list of creations, so developing that forge was such a waste of time.
If you put this all together it’s nice to know I still play Reach daily, but since the last update it keeps crashing every night. I wish that all maps from Halo 1, 2, 3 and reach would be remade for H2A and I will be playing it until I die.
For me it would be:
1:Halo 2
2:Halo 2 Anniversary
3:Halo CE
4:Halo 4
5:Reach
6:Halo 3 (funny enough this was the first one I’ve ever played, and when I did play it, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Unfortunately, Social games destroyed my view of this one pretty badly.)
But honestly, all of the multiplayers for MCC are great. Not to mention that all of them are Infinitely better than Halo Infinite’s multiplayer, in my opinion at least.
