Music in halo games are important because is creates a certain tone for every mission you play. So i want to know what your thoughts on which halo game has the best music.
Halo 3 is my favorite game but Halo 2 by far has the best soundtrack in my opinion.
I don’t think there is any Halo soundtrack that stands above the others. Every Halo soundtrack has given us unique and excellent songs.
Here are some examples:
- Halo: Combat Evolved brought us the iconic Halo theme. - Halo 2 brought more rock to the universe with the likes of Reclaimer and In Amber Clad. - Halo 3 brought us Roll Call, an emotional and fitting track to what was then the end of the Halo trilogy. - Halo 4 brought us 117 which fitted memorable moments such as defending the UNSC Infinity and flying the Broadsword through the Didact’s ship. - Halo 5: Guardians gave us The Trials, a different take from the previous Halo games. - Halo 3: ODST gave us Difference for Darkness, a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack that symbolises the loneliness of the New Mombasa streets. - Halo: Reach brought us Epilogue. Need I say more than it is incredibly fitting as Noble Six makes his last stand. - Halo Wars, while bringing back the Halo theme in Spirit of Fire, gave us a very memorable track with We’re Burning Sunshine.
