Out of all the games, which do you use to take Halohotshots in hope to get in the next community update?
Halo 5 has a lot of potential to cook up some awesome screenshots and all; too bad a Twitter account is a bit of a requirement though… :\
@HaXoR73
Twitter is pretty fun and easy to use though. (o_O )
Hmmm… I haven’t tried getting on Halo Hotshots, but I think Halo 5 is pretty fun to try to get screenshots from.
I posted a few photos before the last update and got featured, I pulled some screenshots from Warzone Assualt! The “Ghost Busters” one with all the sentinal beams! Find something you think would look awesome, bookmark it and then jump in and get some ss. Another cool thing to do is to play around with Forge and get some exciting shots from that!

> On the other hand, our very own Timmy the k1d made a Waypoint submission thread to make our lives a little easier. Might wanna check it out.
I completely agree with you here. While I am thankful for Timmy for making that thread, I can’t resist another opportunity to express how much it annoys me that 343 made it so Twitter (or someone like Timmy who is willing to use Twitter on behalf of others) is required to submit screenshots for the community updates. I understand that Twitter possibly has more users than this forum, but Waypoint is nevertheless their official site, so it strikes me as highly unprofessional for them to do things this way.
This wouldn’t bother me so much if the Fire Unicorn skin wasn’t a thing, but it’s really not cool for them to offer a reward like that and effectively exclude anyone who doesn’t like Twitter from getting it. It’s great for 343 to pay attention to the Halo community on social media but that shouldn’t come at the cost of neglecting their official forums so much.
And to answer OP’s question, I use Halo 5, but I’ve only made two submissions so far, neither of which were featured in a community update

It appears that other sites are having the same frustrations.
Someone recently asked Grim on Twitter “if there’s a reason why you limit Halo hotshots to Twitter? There’s plenty of Instagram profiles with spotlight worthy screenshots”
Grim replied saying that it was “easier for us to embed on Waypoint :-)”.
I can understand why they’d want to make things easier, but it seems a shame for all the spotlight worthy content to go unseen because of that reason.
PS. I’d be happy to send your shots out again at the next opportunity, if you’d like me to

Well, at least I’m not the only one who feels that way.

Much appreciated! I’ll post in that thread if I make another screenshot
