Which halo game do you guys believe is the best? I love halo 2.

Halo Reach is mine with Halo 2 as a close second

Halo CE By far

Nothing beats actually getting people altogether in one room bashing each other for endless hours. Oh and the Pistol.

If halo 2 and 3 had the Carbine after the weapon patch in 4 , -Yoink- they’d be a lot closer to CE.

I’m not much of a multiplayer guy… So won’t have opinions on that… As of now.

But story wise, I would say it’s tough call between Halo 2, 3, and 4.

All three had amazing stories, great character development, amazing soundtrack, breathtaking sceneries, are extremely diverse in the world of Halo, and was just an overall high quality game.

The list starts from my most favorite and into my not so favorite:

  • Halo 4- Halo Reach- Halo 3- Halo 3 ODST- Halo Wars- Halo CE- Halo 2

Has to be Halo 4 good story to start the next saga in halo, multiplayer was good fast paced while still keeping the halo feel (Default sprint was a spectacular idea) and spartan ops was a great side story telling the events after halo 4 (6 months after to be exact)

Halo 3 if I had to choose one.

Its tough for me to pick one, because Halo 3 has the best campaign and Halo: Reach and Halo 4 have the best multiplayer.

I primarily play for the single-player and I’ve loved most of Halo… I’d have to say it’s a toss up between the first game and Reach. First game just enchanted me from beginning to end the first time I played it… And Reach was the game that pulled me back into the fandom when my interest was beginning to wane.

UndecidedOnName I’m sensing a pattern here…LOL. I must agree though that I can’t seem to decide either. I tend to like them all but each one for very different reasons. I have to say that HALO CE was just so brand new back in the day. I loved it. It was so intense. And then seeing the flood introduced as an enemy to both you and the covenant was stellar. The dynamic was enthralling. So if I must pick one I would have to say HALO CE.
