İ don’t like Locke.
The Warden, it’s was especially annoying fighting him so many times in the campaign and then warzone. We better not have to fight him again in Halo 6. They need to off him in outside media.
Any Elite. I hate them.
Palmer. Mostly because I dislike the voice actress.
I actually don’t mind Locke at all, but he’s a bit square with some of his line delivery. Same could absolutely be said about the Chief too, though.
Starting to dislike Cortana for spoilery reasons, and the other members of both Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris are so negligable it doesn’t really make me think about them.
That is except Buck. Buck’s awesome. More Buck, please.
Tanaka, Cortana, Vale, Palmer, Halsey, Lasky, just about all of them except Arbiter.

This is the only possible and/or logical choice for a thread like this. The biggest sin other characters have may be that they aren’t developed enough, but Warden is an over-designed mess visually as well as just showing up in the main story randomly to be Cortana’s lapdog.
Which character don’t I like the most? Easy, Cortana. Bringing her back to life and making her a villain trumps everything else IMO.

Amen. Hopefully they remedy this somehow in halo 6. I can see a “what have I become?” moment coming.
If I had to pick just one I’d say Tanaka. Each other member of Osiris at least had a unique part of their characterization. Locke being a seemingly by-the-books leader that avoids personal attachment (most likely due to what happened in Halo: Nightfall), Buck is well… Buck, and Vale was a geek for Elite language and culture. What exactly did Tanaka bring? Wasn’t she supposed to be a sort of bridge between the (supposedly) big bad UNSC and the outer colonies. Either that type of character is done too much in other fiction or it just wasn’t expanded on enough but it felt like she had two lines that added some context to the missions on Meridian but that’s about it.

Honestly, I’m hoping for logic plague left over from when she was trapped with the Gravemind between H2 and H3. Either way, wasn’t it confirmed by Frank O’Conner somewhere that the “Queen of the Universe” Cortana seen in H5 was a rampant fragment leftover from Halo 4?

I agree with what you two put, but to me the actual Warden character… The way he talks, looks, the idea of him etc. is fine I think… It’s just the way 343I used him…it… Whatever lol I agree he just showed up in the game WAY too much!! You fought him WAY too much!!! He was over used big time… But a lot of the story was pretty poorly told, but I digress here as I don’t want to get off topic.
I know im gonna get hate but ive never liked chief I prefer a funny character like sgt Johnson or buck
Sgt johnson: son I could be your daddy but ah I dont know
I actually really like Locke just wish he wasnt so serious all the time I dont like palmer or tanaka or Linda especially Linda
Cortana.
You know a character’s bad when the company has to backtrack and say the audience isn’t intelligent enough to understand her.
Tanaka.
Honestly, all of them cause how they were poorly written in the story, they’re just so plain, take Arby & Chief for example, to memorable characters, both act like they just got a different personality
Vale, she offends my senses.
I strongly dislike the eternal warden, it’s so boring to kill him ever and ever…
And I don’t like Cortana changes in Halo 5.
The Warden. I wonder why the campaign team thinks rehashing the same boss 7 times is a good idea and he offers no value to the story whatsoever.
And Cortana. Thanks to her magically coming back to life, it ruined the emotional ending of Halo 4.
Honestly, the campaign would have been great if the story hadn’t felt inconsistent and the characters are nicely fleshed out for us to understand. I hope the campaign team learnt their mistakes from Halo 5 so Halo 6 can redeem the problems and bring the whole Forerunner Saga to a nice conclusion.
Knights, soldiers, and elites
Locke because I though he was bland and 343i’s mediocre attempt at aping the chief. (I say mediocre because it’s not the first time the spotlight was taken from chief. I felt Bungie got it right with Arbiter, but Arbiter is a 100x better character than Locke)
Also Warden Eternal. For obvious reasons.
And evil cortana…
And the promies…
Basically every character in Halo 5 that isnt Blue Team, Roland, Halsey or Buck.
