There are a few different visors that have an amber color. Which one do you think most looks like Chief’s visor color? So far I’m using midnight, because I like it. But if I get the right shade I might change the Spartan’s color to match the Chief.
Chief’s visor is Dauntless visor, I’m wearing it now, but looks better ingame of course. I would say Chief is Sage color, but he appears to have gotten darker since 4 and H5
The color your looking for is legendary. The dauntless is NOT the Chiefs visor color.
They say Dauntless is the Chief’s and Legendary is the Beta-5 motif, but Dynasty and Daybreak are the 2 closest looking, IMO, Dynasty being arguabley more proper due to less of a yellow-green (gold) hue, even though many will claim his original colour is goldish (gold is greenish with tracking impurities leading to other hues).
Dauntless and Legendary are too dark and coppery-bronze, Daybreak has a yellow-gold shine while Dynasty has an orange-brass shine. Some artwork has the Legendary looking more proper but that’s not too often it’s shown that dark.
The Autumn visor is a dark orange and I find it looks a lot like Chiefs unbroken visor

I would think they mean for it to be Dauntless since it comes with the Master Chief themed controller, but it does appear a bit darker then his in-game.

I don’t think it’s dauntless either. Originally before playing the game I thought it would be since it came with the chief controller. Now after looking at I don’t think it’s the dauntless visor. Even reading the description makes me think it’s not.
saturnine looks about right, dauntless definitely isn’t it though.

Yea, Chief’s controller comes with a code for the dauntless Visor. They all do

There should have been a piece of paper with the code on it underneath the insert that the controller rested in.
I think it’s daybreak, daybreak looks more like master chief’s visor
Yeah Autumn looks pretty close just with a bit more of a red hue
