I am breaking away from my usual topics to point out and hopefully poke light fun at the recurring trend of waking the dead. If it isn’t Johnson, it’s Six or it’s Jorge or more recently the rookie…let the dead get some sleep people.
Whose ghost have you seen brought back the most and if you had to choose, who would you want to stay eternally off limits?
My cards on the table I would say Six. He died on Reach…if the army of Covenant troops didn’t get him/her the orbital barrage and glassing did, if not that then his/her injuries or starvation. The point of the game and that scene was to drive home the theme of sacrifice, your character paying the ultimate one for an idea and hope they would not live to see. Let Six stay dead.

I would say that everyone who’s canonically dead at this point is eternally off limits. I don’t want Halo to succumb to “comic book death” where death is established as not being a permanent condition, which would completely undermine the narrative of Halo.
Six, by far. Characters in the Halo universe should stay dead (at least canonically). Non-cannon appearances are OK (HW2 multiplayer), as long as people know they are really dead and 343 continues to label them as such.
Noble Six most definitely. Although there was that one topic that speculated Warden Eternal was Johnson, that was pretty hilarious with regards to how deluded the OP was.
Anyhow I look forward to GreenleafCM arriving and doing what he does best, which is to start yet another N6 -Yoink-storm. Must have started over a dozen by now if I remember correctly.
Umm, like do you mean which dead Halo character keeps on getting brung up in the Halo universe? Of so Noble 6, for whatever reason people think that he could of survived, but what other purpose would he have?

Yes I mean canonically dead characters which are repeatedly speculated to have lived like 6. This doesn’t include non canon appearances like in HW2
They could “bring back” Guilty Spark and Didact in games but definetly no Noble6, Rookie or Johnson.

Noble 6 is for sure dead, the rookie also for sure dead the book new blood explains that, SGT Johnson who knows he did get off the halo ring in CE with no explanation, The Didact is dead if you read the comic series Guilty spark is dead as far as we know he did take a lot of lasers to the face George is dead there is no way he lived through the explosion so out of all these characters SGT Johnson is the only wild card in my book but i still don’t want them to bring him back. It would raise so many questions to how unless they release a book that explains where he has been this whole damn time.

They basically confirmed that Spark came back in Primordium. He was the one telling the story and then took over the UNSC Rubicon and helped set the stage for Hunters In The Dark.
Noble six has been the one character I’ve seen “brought back” the most. Its crazy how people can be about these things.
And as for off limits. ALL confirmed dead characters should be off limits.
I do not want to see a future halo game where Johnson pops out of nowhere a say “S’up Chief!”
I suppose really The Master Chief and Kurt have bin the only ones to seem dead and come back.
