Hello all,
I want to play Halo 4 but I want a classic Halo experience without the super-competitive nature of Team Throwdown. I prefer to play casually but I get annoyed by things like PODs and AC. If you’re like me, what playlists do you go to?

Pick Team Slayer or Team Doubles and hope that you get matched with players who will vote for Legendary Slayer BRs or Doubles Pro.
BTB. Occasionally you will get the selection ‘Big Team Battle’ which is no loadouts no ordnance. It’s really good like old Halo. BTB generally isn’t super competitive anyway. Don’t get me wrong, it can be, I’m extremely competitive and BTB is all I play. There are alot of talented players but lots more casuals.
Other than that I just accept Halo has changed and play it anyway.

Thanks for the responses guys! This is my first topic so I’m excited to see that there is no flaming going on. I’ve never played SWAT on Halo 4 so I’ll have to try it out. I have played team slayer and I really enjoyed that but I just felt like it was missing something. I wish they hadn’t dropped the original classic gametype because I liked that. Thanks again!

Legendary BRs, Slayer Pro, Team Snipers and Swat are the only gametypes that offer a decent classic feel.
Swat and snipers are your best bet. Every time I play TS or TD I get stuck with infinity slayer which is why I don’t play them.
