AC CrashPilot, when you say “set the mood,” do you mean for gaming or for other more physical activities? Because I would express a polite interest in listening to Halo music “outside Halo” lol.
Either way though, ODST’s bluesy tunes get me in the mood, whatever that mood may be.

I think overall Halo 2 is my favorite.
In Amber Clad from Halo 2 I always listen to when travelling to various Islands ^^

I really loved the soundtrack to Halo 3 and 4 but ODST’s music was…almost serene.
halo 3, the piano is killer.
Can’t say no to Halo 2’s soundtrack… Even if you just let the entire thing play out on it’s own, every track is better than the last. Halo 3: ODST, if not entirely interchangeable with Halo 2 for my #1 spot, (depending on my mood) is very, VERY close in my book.
My oh my, tough choices indeed. But honestly, it defintly tied between Halo 2 and ODST.
Can’t decide between 2, 3, or Reach.
It was hard to decide, Mainly Odst but halo 3’s end set the mood better than a full sound track.

It absolutely was, I love that song.
They all have some really great parts, but the multiplayer menu music in Reach probably got me pumped up the most.
Halo 2. Whenever I hear Mjolnir mix I get chills.
Aside from the main Halo theme. I believe Peril and Leonidas (Delta Halo Suite) are my favorites.
Really Halo 2 and ODST had my favorite soundtracks mood-wise since they were almost like ambient noises because of just how well bungie managed to make them fit the mood.
