which form of Active Camo do you want?

Do you want the Halo Ce-3 camo: Moving doesn’t not affect your visibility but you still show up on radar. Or do you want the Reach Version: Radar is it jammed but your more visible the faster you move. Personally I think the old camo is better. Also it’s better for custom games.

The Reach version was awful. It’s practically useless when running and only encourages slow gameplay when you have to move slowly to stay invisible. The camp from the trilogy was infinitely better.

Remember that reach is b4 halo ce, 2 and 3 so i think camo will be like halo ce-3

I’d like Halo 3’s camo to be specific, but if it comes back as Halo: CE - 2 then that would be okay too.

I would like to have the Halo 3 custom back. A kind of bubble thats looks cool (not like in Reach:CE) and this “radar jammar” is irritating when there are more than one with camo…

You know `?

Reach’s camo is flat out useless. The radar jammer just lets people know you’re there anyway. Halo 3 camo FTW.

Also you need to be more transparent IMO. Enemies could see from a mile a way with Reach camo.

The charge effect while running is something i can tolerate for balance reasons in Reach. Just depends on how they handle it, I suppose in Reach, the reason the effect revealed you was to contend with players potentially having it in mass.

Now in one reagrd, Active Camo was a double bladed sword. The Radar may reveal your position to them, but when two people have it; the radar jamming effect wreaks havok. I’ve seen accounts everywhere that when one person is running into open combat with a full team, the radar jamming actually helps the teams effectiveness. Likely because the enemy can’t discern their position via radar, only visual.

Halo 2 camo.

It’s not too difficult to see the player (the camo is somewhere between ‘good’ and ‘poor’ camo) but there’s no aim assist when targeting him, nor does the camouflaged player appear on the radar. I miss the last part immensely. It made the camo make a real difference in objective games for example.

I want the Halo 3 active camo because it made you feel more assassin like.

H 1-3 camo.

Except I want the “good” camo or whatever the best is to be completely invisible. 100% invisible.

God no, do away with the Reach version. It was very unwise to spawn with Camo as it just increases the rate at which camping becomes more common and more Camo sniping BS for both teams.

To add salt upon mortal wound; it has a radar jammer and while yes, its true if you move fast it’s not as effective but trust me, this is hardly a balancing factor.

Let’s bring back the Camo power up and it’s business as usual. Fight for control, the better players gain access while the lesser players loses the opportunity to use Camo. Now that’s fair. If i am going to have one person camo Sniping i can hang.

If three people using Camo to snipe or sneak around Sword/Shotty, the game will play much slower and as we seen with Reach, that leads to undesirable gameplay and Halo 4 doesn’t need undesirable gameplay mechanics. At all.

At least with the vanilla camo, you can move around normally and stay invisible while still being picked up on radar. Now that’s balanced AND fair; something Reach’s Camo couldn’t ever hope to be.

Halo 3’s version without a doubt. There should be a poll.

Yeah I like Halo 3 camo as well. Another thing I didn’t like about Reach camo, is that if a teammate was using it, it sometimes can mess with you and every other mate on your team.

Another thing, people using Reach camo confuses themselves. I find it much easier to charge in with an assassination when the person using camo is unaware of the dot coming behind him/her. He thank the million of dots he/she has on the radar.

Halo Ce - 3,pickable on the map, spawns every 3 minutes(mlg),and you need to time it for mapcontrol and more kills

i remember playing team doubles on guardian, the first 2 things you had to do were:
1.go for overshield
2.go for camo

and you could lose if you forgot to time it,i loved that

in reach that thing is completely missing

so halo ce - 3 camo

I acutally had that happen not but an hour ago. Some enemy was ahead of me with stealth and there was a guy with a rocket. He must have been affected by the radar jam from his teammate, because he didn’t react to my approach at all.

I try to avoid using it for long term in a combat area myself. I opt to pop it off for a moment so i can see the radar for a quick check and then pop it back on for some radar jamming fun. Unlike Halo 3, the Reach Radar Jammer is very effective with the false dots.

The trilogy’s Active Camo is superior to the Halo: Reach Active Camo.

This.

With the exception of H2’s campaign camo. That… was vulgar.

Yeah I guess about how and when you use it. Lol I got assassinated because my teammate had his radar on. I was yelling like, “turn off your camo,” in the mic! Then I get confused and cracked in the back.

I’ve also seen it used very effectively when ever it’s a 1 vs 4 situation. The other team would all quit except one stubborn guy, and he’d sit in a corner flipping it on and off or crouching with it. It’s pretty much a win/lose situation unless you know what your doing. I forgot all about radar jammer in halo 3, it was fun and effective.

the only thing i liked about reach’s camo was the deafening effect it had whilst activated, i thought that was pretty cool. so h3 camo with reach’s deafening effect ig.

I used the radar jam to amazing effect on Invasion with a friend of mine. We advanced into point one from the right side of the ship as Elites. We popped our Camo and charged on in. There was someone so disoriented by the two sources of radar jamming that he was shooting along the walls trying to check for Camo users. He did not have a good day when we pumped him full of needles.

I never actually saw the Radar Jammer in 3, wasn’t that removed for reason if it being ineffective? On account of the way the radar dots moved(unlike the reach jammer)
