IMO its hard to decide between weapons of the promethean or unsc weapon, the only good covvie one IMO is the carbine… all hail the carbine

Seriously, I like a weapon from each group, that I can’t pick just one!
It doesn’t look like the Covenant arsenal is really large, now that I think of it. Just the basics; a sidearm, auto-weapon, precision weapon, and heavy weapon.
Probably go for Promethean weapons as much as I can. Heck, they could all be the most useless weapons in the game, I’d still use them all the time. Disintegrating enemies ftw.

yea thats wat i find to be very appealing about those weapons like really even a 40 year old man would squeal like a kid on christmas when he disintegrates his opponent into lilttle gold dust flakes
I’ll use UNSC weapons, and then use whatever Promethean weapons I can get in ordinance drops.

before i saw the promethean weapons i was the same i thought to myself no way am i using covvie weapons because u gotta admit the storm rifle is garbagr in terms of fire power and accuracy and it over heats very fast, but yeah the UNSC weapons are maybe the most powerful now who knows… oorah
I’m torn, as an Elite fan I spent most of Halo 2 and 3 using any Covy weapons I could get my hands on. But with Halo Reach, I found it hard to do that because no matter what, I WAS a Spartan. And it felt wrong using Covy tech as a Spartan.
So while I identify primarily with Covy weapons when it comes to Halo, and I am well practiced in their playstyles, as opposed to UNSC, I may have to go UNSC because Elites aren’t available to play as.
@ Above post: From what I’ve seen the Storm Rifle has the most raw power of all the primary weapons. I don’t know what you’re talking about?
There have only been 2 gameplay clips where we actually see it fail, and in one case, the player got triple teamed, and was shooting at a mid ranged opponent, instead of a close ranged one. And in the other it was a 1-on-1 LONG range SR vs BR.
The Storm Rifle looks extremely beastly.

i guess u r right its and e3 build plus the rifle wasnt being used at optimal range, but it is a very good shield killer no doubt it does have and edge over Reach’s plasma reapeater no doubt in every way in terms of speed and fire power

AR with a Touch of Light Rifle and Storm Rifle.
UNSC shotgun, and forerunner Scattershot. At once. Yay!

that is quite the lethal combo
Covenant Carbine, and Battle Rifle Combo, depending on the map perhaps a swap between the two paired with the Storm Rifle. And yes the Storm Rifle is quite a beast :), but my favorite weapon is the Covenant Carbine for use during Multiplayer.
All of them, depending on the situation and the map.
