I have 800 microsoft points left and have decided to buy a Halo dlc map pack with the last points.
So my question is which dlc do you think is worth it?
Castle or Majestic.
Castle if you like bigger vehicle supported maps, majestic if you like small arena maps.
Majestic and Castle are the best 2 IMO.
Castle has bigger maps and has a playlist for it right now. The maps are fun and look great.
Majestic has small maps. There is no playlist for them right now. The maps are fun to play on and look great as well.
Not really gonna go into detail on the Crimson map pack since I didn’t play too much of it. The only map I liked was the one with the ramps. Harvest, I think.
It really depends on what type of gameplay you like.
I would go with castle, it being the new map pack, meaning more people will play it.
Later on, get the others.
Thanks for the replies guys but why do you guys dont like the crimson map pack? What is so bad with it? Atm it looks like im going to buy the castle map pack because i like big maps.
Majestic personally…Castle is good, but it has more flaws personally. Biggest for me are the boundaries on Daybreak with the Banshee are broken. You pretty much cant fly at all on that mpa, you have to stay close to the pillars and mountains which makes you an easier target, especially since EVERYONE uses PP now…
Crimson wasnt terrible, it just wasnt good. Two of the maps were really just big circles. Only one of the maps was decent. The achievements (not sure if you care about them) were ridiculous for Crimson, at least for Majestic and Castle they are reasonable.

Harvest is really the only good map in that pack IMO and it barely ever comes up in MM if at all. Shatter and Wreckage just have boring gameplay, along with horrible lighting, that really decreases gamplay value.
Sloppy has it dead on, Wreckage is awful. Shattered is mediocre and Harvest never comes up. I still dont have that stupid warthog kill cheevo for Harvest. Wreckage is essentially a giant circle with a couple of air lifts and big broken down hull in the center, not very good to be honest. Shattered is ok…but the lighting is pretty bad and the spawn camping is also bad. Harvest really is the only good map in Crimson.
Majestic is the best of the 3 by far.

Good choice, you won’t be disappointed. I thought it was the best out of the three map packs.
