If your like me, the day halo 4 comes out you and three of your friends will in the process of beating halo 4 on legendary without even thinking about an easier difficulty.
So which difficulty are you going for first?
I probably won’t have enough friends playing first day to do legendary so I’ll most likely do a forever alone Solo Heroic run.
Definitely Normal. I don’t want the experience ruined by difficulty.
Probably normal difficulty so I can familiarize myself with the Campaign before playing on Legendary and just to experience the story without stressing out. I always do Legendary second.
Legendary Solo or Co-op depending of the achievements.
I always play on Heroic except for the Halo 3/ODST Vidmasters or Reach daily challenges. Even with the challenges, though, I never do any solo Iron ones.
Solo Heroic all the way.
Legendary. Anything lower seems too easy.

Normal but if I can get the hang of the campaign really quick I might do legendary straight of the bat.
The only way I will be playing is if I face opponents who have never known defeat and who happen to laugh in alien tongues at my efforts to survive. Also, I will only play if doing so results in suicide.

Depends on how I feel since might just do it straight on legendary since got a lot better at Halo so legendary might be give me a bit of a challenge. I did something similar with Reach but I realised normal wasn’t really worth doing so might just stop onto legendary but might do normal because don’t want some -Yoink- spoiling the story for me.
Heroic. Always Heroic.
It’s Chief’s story, so I rather play it solo the first time. And I’ll probably choose Normal/Heroic first, just because I also want to look around and try every weapon instead of searching for cover the whole time in the first playthrough. But the second day I’ll play solo Legendary and later also Co-Op Legendary.
LEGENDARY CO-OP!!!
Heroic solo first then a legendary solo. After that legendary co-op with brother and sister so they can get the achievments for it. Gotta help the family 
Easy for AI collection data gathering and getting acquainted with the map.
Normal and Heroic for story.
Legendary for level segment deconstruction. It’s my goal to try to humiliate the AI of every Halo game. I’m expecting an actual challenge, not one like this.
Bs difficulty is not worth working with. I want smart AI, not damage sponges.
First run through Normal just to enjoy the story then Heroic and Legendary with friends eventually.
Heroic, I want a little bit of challenge, while not having to fear for my life every time I turn the corner. Helps me catch onto the story more.

Exactly. If I’m fighting battles for ages on legendary, I won’t get the story.
Definitely normal, then legendary afterwards.
