which cutscene graphics are better CEA or HWs?

in your opinion which one do you think has the better graphics?

personally i think HWs but the graphics have a differnt kind of style so im not 100% sure and just wanted to see what other people thought

Halo Wars’ cutscene graphics are better looking because they are pre-rendered CGI. Halo CE’s are rendered in real time using the graphics engine (I think).

Halo Wars were CGI. All the other games have in-engine cutscenes. It’s unfair to compare them in terms of quality.

what do graphics have to do with one being an FPS and the other being an RTS?

In game graphics or full blown CGI.

Halo Wars’ appearance in cutscenes is much better, and that’s not just an opinion, it’s impossible to be negated… they are pre-rendered CGI images; they can put a much higher level of poligons while Anniversary’s ones use the graphic motor itself rendering it in the same moment you see the cutscene.

I think CEA’s… Halo Wars’ Graphics were cool though.

Halo CE’s aren’t that special. Sure the story is good, and a few crafty camera angles make for a compelling experience, but overall… Halo Wars’ are better.

Halo Wars cutscene graphics were amazing. Hopefully Halo 4’s are amazing and not the same as the in game graphics.

But I am still highly impressed with the graphics in CEA. The mere fact we are comparing the two game’s cutscenes is a testament to just how awesome CEA is looking.

Implying? Not at all; visually, they’re the best cut-scenes I’ve seen in any video game, but it’s not in real-time so every time I watch them I personally feel as if Ensemble cheated because all the other Halo games used the in-game engine. If the Halo Wars cut-scenes used the in-game engine at looked identical to how they do now, then they’d win my favor by a long-shot.

Halo Wars was excellent if you could just overlook the fact it wasn’t a FPS.

Very stupid comparison, Halo War’s cutscene’s are CGI, of course they look better.
