Which controller layout do you use?

I was curious as to who else here uses different controller schemes in Halo Reach. I tried default when Reach came out but couldn’t handle it. I had to go back to Recon.

What about you?

Default with 10 sensitivity, for now anyway

Recon just cause i didnt want to learn a new layout and if i ever went back to h3 or odst i could still play them right off the bat.

Recon with 10 sense. For now and forever!

Default with 6 sensitivity. People like to think that BJ is better because the majority of hardcore players use it. But that doesn’t mean squat. I’m sure I can destroy Frankie, Bs Angel, KoD, Savior, and everyone here

Default with 10 sensitivity.

Recon.

I use default, although a lot of my friends use Recon. Recon is bad for Armor Abilities. I also use default 3 sensitivity. 10 is way too high. Sure you can turn faster, but the more you turn it up the more it affects your aim.

I run Bumper Jumper with 8 sensitivity.

I find that being able to jump and aim is a lot better than using your AA and aiming most of the time. Plus I tend not to use much outside of Sprint and Evade…So…Yeah =P. Plus I can easily swap back to default if I’m playing Invasion, or some gametype that is more AA heavy.

I always learn the default setting of every game, because obviously default is optimal for gameplay (lol bumper jumper)

Bumper Jumper, 4 sensitivity.

Bumper Jumper! Either that or Default. Yes, I toggle back and forth. And speaking of toggle, I click and hold to crouch.

Bumper Jumper. 10 sens. I also claw the controller when I use jetpack. Gotta hold down the stick to crouch.

Recon with about 6 sens. 10 sens is insane!

> Recon with about 6 sens. 10 sens is insane!

Some games 10 feels insanely crazy. But some games also feel like 10 is perfect.

And some feel it’s still too slow.

Exactly. There’s some weird inconsistencies with the sens.

As soon as Walkie Talkie was in Halo3, ka-CHING!
I just wish they didn’t switch the X and B with Halo: Reach default and ODST recon. But at least we didn’t get ODST’s aim-assisted grenades that totally messed with every toss of mine.

So ya, Reach, default.

Bumper Jumper, I’ve been using it since Halo 3. Now that I got my Razer Onza controller yesterday, I can use Bumper Jumper without sacrificing my abilities with Jetpack.

Bumper Jumper and 10 sensitivity.
