I use both, predator AR for my primary loadout using firepower and a CQC loadout with prime AR.

I use predator (when i rarely use the ar), because its not as common (yet)

Prime is slightly better than Predator IMO.

I use the AR as my main weapon and I personally love Prime, it just fits the gun so well.
