I’ve watched it a few times, and it looks like it hit him in the nother region!

it definitely misses him, goes behind him and bounces off the wall.
Just look where it lands, if it actually deflected off the spartan it wouldn’t have landed so far back in the doorway.
It is deceiving since the glow of the plasma shines through the spartan, but you can see a glimmer on the wall where the nade contacted also.

That’s just annoying.
Lore wise, the plasma grenade might not have been primed yet. but this was never EVER a feature before, nor was it ever stated. so I doubt it was an actual thing and more of a bug.

Hahaha, that’s almost almost as embarrassing as thinking you threw a sticky as you helpless watch your frag bounce off a Spartans helmet. In my head I always think, “great… Now this guy thinks I’m an idiot, I might as well just start picking up rocks and throwing them”

I would like to see side view cause its sooo close to spartan, just the way it bounces also suggest it hit wall.

Actually it’s not. I believe that feature was added in Reach (tell me if I’m wrong), where the frag gets “stuck” in between the armor plates.

It didn’t stick. I watched the clip 3 times and confirmed it actually hit the wall, and barely missed him.
I’ve personally seen now…
Plasma nades not stick when they should
Frag bases stick when they shouldn’t
Sticks that don’t kill
And people thrusting out of assassination after a knife ois in their back
