Which AI will you pick?

With the tech preview we got eyes on a few more AI companions and I was wondering which would be the most popular.
Will you go with:

  • The ever dashing BUTLR
  • The gallant CIRC
  • The stoic FRET
  • The cute LUMU

*Note: character traits are completely made up

Also which colour would you go for?

Mine would be a blue FRET.

Circ looks simple, but Lumu looks like the Cromulons from Rick And Morty. It’s a toss up between the two for me. I’ll probably go with green, maybe orange.

I’ll probably switch between all of them during the preview, but so far I’m most interested in trying out BUTLR and LUMU.

I am really looking forward to the personality traits of these. I hope there is an angry one “you missed the cloak again you doofus” or “nice aim…NOT”.

Can’t really say until I get time with them. Color will be dark grey and some type of blue.

I like the little triangle so probably him for now. Colour undetermined but probably the colour to either match my team outline so he looks like one of the guys.

Def going to have to try them all, but going to start with an Orange LUMU

Probably the one that looked like a borderlands artifact. I dont like how lemu and butlr look. and pink because why not.

When the tech preview launches, navigate to the customization menu. There, you should see a AI option with 4 selectable AIs in the preview, as well as several color options for each AI.

I’m holding out hope that we get more AI down the road like Johnson or I would be really happy with a Spartan Jerome AI(That’s if he’s not in the game, which I hope he’s at least referenced).

I hope they will add stuff like Virgil and such!

Circ looked the most interesting shape imo so probably that one.

Though honestly I was hoping for a little more in the way of ai customisation, like maybe faces on top of Ai. I hope voice isn’t locked to the shape in the full game.

I would try them all honestly, then I would slap some money on the table for a Cortana ai or Serina Ai or even Auntie Dot AI

I’ll give them all a try, though I do want to hear the voices before really deciding on one. Though they will most likely be pink. oh, no, sorry, “lightish red”.

I think it will depend more on their voice and personality than their shape and colour. Hopefully there is a way to preview that in the menus, similar to firefght voices in Reach, but if not I am sure one will appeal to me as I hear them in game.

From what little we heard in the trailers BUTLR sounded like the one I would chose.
