why is halo downgrading with the enemies? Where are the drones? Brutes ,engineers , skirmishes ect? the covenant held the most population for its species based army , seems 343 are leaving certain covernant in the dark, maybe it’s the lack of time and money to redesign them or maybe pure laziness and neglect .whats your thoughts on this halo fans?
Lore
Brutes and Elites hate each other, though Lydus did try to make peace with the UNSC and SoS. No one knows if it went through after the terrorist attack though. There’s very few factions of Brutes powerful enough to be considered a threat to humanity or the more powerful Covenant Remnant factions.
Engineers were slaves and once the Covenant fell, they fled. Humanity has found some though.
Skirmishers are just another version of Jackals. Originally Bungie said many of them were killed off in the Fall of Reach but that’s be retconned. Now I’m guessing it’s because they were literally just Jackals with a different hair style and could use armor abilities.
Drones I don’t really know what happened to them.

I like that you have back up with halo lore, I do remember the story of the shkirmishers now you mention it, but with the brutes they actually had concept art for halo 5 , so some how they should of still pushed their way threw the game…and drones I’m with you on that one , they have no reason not to be in the game…it would of made the campaign Abit more interesting
I remember in Halo escalation, some brutes did remain loyal to covenant factions but most of them wanted nothing to do with the Covenant. Their economy was very poor too. They got their own problems.
I’m guessing when the prophets died, the drones went back to their home world so they can serve their real queen. Yet, they appeared in Spartan assault… hmmm

The drones are a hive-mind, no surprise there. Giant space bugs. When the Covenant fell (and most of their queens died on High Charity) they just went off to build nests somewhere and be giant space bugs as they did before the Covenant came along. They have no interest in galactic affairs.

True, most races were slave races
